We often get asked if dental implant placement is a painful procedure.  The jawbones have very few nerve endings. In fact, our gum tissues have more nerve endings or having a tooth removed is much more uncomfortable than a dental implant placement.  Most patients require only Advil or Tylenol.

We place dental implants in a meticulous process and often at the same time of tooth removal.  This is called an immediate dental implant placement which is a unique process that some dentists have training for.
